Definition of Quran

The Qur'an is the last book of the Almighty which was revealed to the last Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) over a period of twenty-three years. This is a very pure and holy book. In which there is a message of guidance for all human beings. In addition to the Qur'an, there are other divine books that were revealed to the apostles in the past.The Torah is the Psalms and the Gospel. There are also scriptures that were revealed to other prophets. All the heavenly books have shared the basic teachings, such as monotheism, rejection of polytheism, creation and worship, but all the previous books were for a specific period. Since these were not for the whole of humanity, most of His commands were for a specific time. Which were not applicable for other times but the Quran is a comprehensive book that gives guidance in every sphere of life and its guidance is not for any particular time and nation but for the whole world of humanity till the Day of Judgment. There is no doubt that the Qur'an is the last book to be revealed to the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

قران مجید کی تعریف

قران مجید اللہ تعالی کی آخری کتاب ہے جوآخری پیغمبر حضرت محمد مصطفی صلی اللہ عیلہ وآلہ وسلم پر تئیس سال کی مدت میں آہستہ آہستہ حالات ضرورت کے پیش نظر نازل ہوتی رہی۔ یہ نہات ہی پاکیزہ اور مقدس کتاب ہے۔ جس میں سب انسانوں کے لیے ہدایت کا پیغام ہے۔ قران کے علاوہ بھی چند دیگر آسمانی کتابیں ہیں جو پہلے زمانے میں رسولوں پر نازل ہوئی۔‏ تورات زبور اور انجیل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ صیحفے بھی ہیں جو دوسرے پیغمبروں پر نازل ہوئے۔سب آسمانی کتابوں میں بنیادی تعلیمات مشلا توحید رد شرک خلاق و عبادات سے متعلق احکامات مشترک رہے ہیں مگر وہ تمام سابقہ کتابیں ایک خاص دور کے لیے تھیں۔ یہ چونکہ پوری دنیائےانسانیت کےلیے نہ تھیں اس لیے ان کے اکثر احکام بھی ایک خاص وقت کے لیے تھے۔ جو دوسرے زمانے کے لیے قابل عمل نہ تھے مگر قرآن مجید ایک ایسی جامع کتاب ہے جو زندگی کےہر شعبہ میں رہنمائی کرتی ہےاور اس کی یہ رہنمائی کسی خاص وقت اور قوم کے لیے نہیں بلکہ قیامت تک کی تمام دنیائے انسانیت کے لیے ہے۔ اس میں کوئی شک کی گنجائش نہیں کہ قرآن مجید آخری پیغمبر حضرت محمد صلی اللہ عیلہ وآلہ وسلم پر نازل ہونے والی آخری کتاب ہے۔
