The importance of Friday

Friday prayers is obligatory. It is obligatory for all adult Muslims to pay it once a week. The cleric gives a sermon on the occasion of Friday prayers. In which guidance is given about Islamic teachings so that they can apply it in practical life.

Etiquette of listening to the Friday sermon

No one should speak during the sermon. It would be a mistake to ask someone to keep quiet because it distracts other people.

The following etiquette must be followed in listening to the Friday sermon.

Prayers should not be offered.

Don't talk about anything.

No one should be greeted and no one should be greeted.

Do not respond to sneezing.

It is forbidden to eat, drink, play and look around.

It is forbidden to tell anyone a problem or to recite a rosary.

If the name of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is mentioned in the sermon, then it is permissible for those who listen to the sermon to recite Durood Sharif in their hearts.

جمعہ کی اہمیت

نماز جمعہ فرض عین ہے۔ پورے ہفتے میں ایک بار تمام بالغ مسلمانوں پر اس کی ادائیگی فرض ہے۔ نماز جمعہ کے موقع پر عالم دین خطبہ دیتا ہے۔ جس میں اسلامی تعلیمات کے بارے میں راہنمائی کی جاتی ہے تا کہ عملی زندگی میں اس پر عمل کر سکیں۔

خطبہ جمعہ سننے کے آداب

کسی بھی شخص کو خطبے کے دوران بات نہیں کرنی چاہیے۔ اگر کسی کو خاموش ہونے کے لیے بھی کہا تو یہ بھی غلطی ہوگی کیونکہ اس سے دوسرے لوگوں کی توجہ بھی ہٹ جاتی ہے۔

جمعہ کے خطبہ سننے کےمندرجہ ذیل آداب پر عمل کرنا لازم ہے۔

نماز نہ پڑھی جائے۔

کسی قسم کی گفتگو نہ کی جائے۔

نہ کسی کو سلام کہا جائے اور نہ ہی کسی کے سلام کا جواب دیا جائے۔

چھینک کا جواب نہ دیا جائے۔

کھانا پینا کھلینا اور ادھر ادھر دیکھنا منع ہے۔

کسی کو مسلہ بتانا یا کوئی تسبیح پڑھنا منع ہے۔

اگر خطبہ میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ عیلہ وآلہ وسلم کا نام مبارک آئے تو خطبہ سننے والوں کے لیے دل میں درود شریف پڑھ لینا جائز ہے۔
