Respect the elders

In Islam, respect for elders and literature is commanded. In the Qur'an, the command to treat parents well has been mentioned many times. The younger ones should obey the elders and give preference to their opinion, provided it is not against the Qur'an and Sunnah. Greet the elders who come along the way. Make room for the elders in the meeting and make room for the elders in the train or bus etc. The status of the elderly person increases in the sight of Allah Almighty. Therefore, we should also respect the literature of these elders, especially the respect of parents, grandparents and teachers is even more necessary.

The words of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are always and directly related to our practical life. A society in which there is no love and compassion for children and no respect for adults cannot be civilized. Therefore, this instruction of the Holy Prophet (sws) is the guarantor of the stability of our social life.

 بڑوں کا احترام کرنا

اسلام میں بزرگوں کے احترام اور ادب کا حکم دیا ہے۔ قرآن مجید میں والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کا حکم کئی بار آیا ہے۔ چھوٹوں کو چاہیے کہ بڑوں کی باتوں کو مانیں ان کی رائے کو ترجیح دیں بشرطیکہ وہ قرآن و سنت کے خلاف نہ ہو۔ راستے میں آنے جانے والے بزرگوں کو سلام کریں۔ بزرگوں کے لیے مجلس میں جگہ بنائیں اور ریل یا بس وغیرہ میں بزرگوں کے لیے جگہ بنائیں۔ عمر رسیدہ شخص کا مقام اللہ تعالی کی بارگاہ میں بڑہ جاتا ہے۔ اس لیے ہمیں بھی ان بزرگوں کا ادب واحترام کرنا چاہیۓ خاص کروالدین، دادا دادی ،نانا نانی اور اساتذہ کرام کا احترام تو اور بھی زیادہ لازم ہے۔

حضور نبی کریم صلی اللہ عیلہ وآلہ وسلم کا ارشاد گرامی کا ہماری عملی زندگی سے ہمہ وقت اور براہ راست تعلق ہے۔ جس معاشرے میں بچوں سے پیاراور شفقت نہیں اور بڑوں کا ادب واحترام نہیں وہ معاشرہ مہذب نہیں ہو سکتا۔ چنا نچہ آپ صلی اللہ عیلہ وآلہ وسلم کا یہ ارشاد ہماری معاشرتی زندگی کے استحکام کا ضامن ہے۔
